Cloud Computing; insight of servers and online storage
Hello, I am Sparsh Goyal! I am a student at the University of Southern California. I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business. I adore listening to music, and I could brag over Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd for hours. Beat-Boxing is something I'm interested in, and I'd be down to play basketball or golf with anyone. If I wasn't in college, I would probably be participating in Formula 1, running across the country, or exploring some new place.
During this year, I have acquired proficiency in utilizing SolidWorks and NX, which are CAD programs widely utilized in engineering design. Moreover, I have developed a strong affinity towards working with the MATLAB software.
During 2021, I have developed a strong affinity towards working with the MATLAB software. Aditionially, this was the first time I worked with a CAD softeware.
In the year 2020, amidst the pandemic, I self-learned Data Science and was granted the opportunity to serve on the student council during my senior year of high school.
I have gained proficiency in JAVA, which has enabled my cognitive abilities and problem-solving skills, and I have also been inspired to participate in the WRO, a robotics competition where I designed and constructed robots with Lego pieces.
During this year, I developed my leadership skills and honed my debating abilities through my participation in various Model United Nations (MUN) and Model Congress (RS) events.
In the current year, I have acquired proficiency in working with circuit boards and electronics, and have actively participated in the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
I have explored my love of studying and traveling this year. I have benefited significantly from my newfound interest because it has allowed me to experience things outside of the classroom.
The current year has seen me increase my knowledge of Basic Flash and sharpen my proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
I am proud to be a member of Theta Tau- Professional Engineering Fraternity at the Universuity of Southern California. Joining Theta Tau has been a significant milestone in my engineering journey, as it has provided me with invaluable opportunities for professional development, networking, and leadership growth. Through Theta Tau, I have been able to connect with like-minded peers, participate in various technical and professional events, and contribute to the engineering community on campus.
I had the privilege of being chosen as the Student Council House Vice-Captain (House- Pravir) during my time in high school, "The Sanskaar Valley School." I had to work closely with the instructors, staff, and other students in this position to make sure that the school's numerous events and activities went smoothly. Being a student council member gave me a chance to improve my high school community while also developing my leadership skills and improving the lives of my fellow students..
I had the privilege of serving as the Team Leader for the Senior High Team. In this role, I led a talented group of individuals with a shared passion for robotics and engineering. We participated in various events such as the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO), where we competed against teams from around the world. My responsibilities as the Team Leader included overseeing team operations, coordinating team members' roles and responsibilities, managing resources, and ensuring efficient communication among team members.
